Here is our newest addition!

We just love this little guy so much

Nixon came to us November 29th 2010. Monday morning we went in at 9:30 to have our baby and at 1:45 pm he finally came. We are just so greatful he's healthy and happy. It was by no means a exciting birth and I have no crazy story to tell other than it was a day after my mom's birthday and I was born a day after my Grandmas birthday.

It's been a crazy busy couple of months with a new born and trying to get back in the grove of things again it's a lot of work and no sleep. And all I can say is that Andy has been the best help ever always helping with the boys, conners hockey, and just always happy to help when I need it.

Anniversary trip and Girls trip...

9 Years.... And I still love this guy!!!

He surprised me with a fun road trip, and I mean surprise

I just got home from my trip to Ontario just two days before

but we had such an awesome time together..

I really am the luckiest girl around!!!

I never did take very many pics of my trip to Ontario

but this one is of my girl friend Andrea I'm so glad I went to go and see her

and her new life..

I also went to Montreal and saw my other best est friend Candice

That I haven't seen in 2 years!! But I had such a great time with her and her family..

This Trip was kind of like my last her ah before I have my baby

and it was so worth it

to go see my best girl friends.. Love you guys!!!

So and other good news in my life is I GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!!!

Here is conner's track and field.. Yes I now it's been like 2 months sorry..

But here he is.. He tried his best and he loves to play outside and run .

This is him long jumping.... I now he needs his feet together but he's learning right!!!

And living in this town where everyone it seems is so competitive with there kids, and there only in grade 1.

But he loved getting out there and having fun So I'm pretty dang proud of my little guy!!!

What Don't a Need!!!

Well I'm sitting here in my new living room thinking I'm so grateful for everything that I have but yet I still need more or a think I do.... This might sound weird but everything cost's so much money and everything adds up...... And yet I still need or want. Like my camera i was going to post new pics of Conner's baseball and the house, but It seems like one of my little guys broke it.

So now since I don't have a job and I'm a stay at home mom I need need need or so my Husband tells me.... I need a new camera, sewing machine, family pictures developed and mounted (ouch)..

Well I could go on but I can't because I get sick thinking about it. It's all for me and Andy is the one working his butt off so I can have all of this. And I love him because he puts up with me and my NEEDs. And yet he has never NO so why do I feel so guilty about needing things for me???? And Asking for things for me?????

So any advice or words of wisdom from any of you fabulous Bloggers out there I'm Listening.

So I'm sorry about this crazy post and my ramblings if they make any sense to any one.

For Easter we last minutely got a room at fantasy land.

Well lets just say got to our room and it was a smoking room!!!

Yea no way we were staying there. So they hooked us up with the best room in the place.

THE TRUCK ROOM!!!!

Yes you heard me right Andy and I stayed in the back of a truck and the kids in the cab.

the kids loved it.. us not to much, you had to climb a ladder to get in or out.

So I guess it wasn't to bad the kids didn't bug us they just shut the door

and played in the front.

Oh and did I mention the MIRROR'S everywhere ceiling and walls .

It was like a redneck honeymoon I never had.

Loved it!

NEW YEARS 2010

I threw a party for my two little guys and my nephew.

So much fun, I know I'm boring right well Andy was working at our house STILL!! And I needed something to do so we had a party we played Uno, ( they were so funny.) popped poppers, eat tons, and of course movies..

So that was my 2010.

And this is the start of mine...............

I wish I was in my house but I guess I'll settle for the Domincan!! HAHA

Andy Needed a break so off we went, so crazy right. But we needed a break big time.

Our house is done and were moving in this Saturday... YAY

But all post pics of that later..

For now here is Punta Cana!!

We went to Santa Domingo for the day it was so beautiful!!

If I could do my life all over again I would have gotten married right here.. other than that my life is peachy!!

My next Favorite thing is the Palm Trees.. ahhh I love Palm trees!!!

I would love to plant a palm tree in my back yard but good luck up here...

Maybe all move!!!!!

So we went to the Dominican last week, it's right next to Haiti...

We didn't feel anything and we didn't even know anything happened till the next morning..

And we only just found out that there was a tsunami warning after the earthquake for the whole Island.

You just never now what life has in store for you.

I'll I can say is I'm so glad were home Safe.

So that was just a little update till next time.. And then I will be doing this in my new House!!!!

Wow my little guy is SIX.. So crazy!!!!

So Conner wanted a Hot Wheels birthday cake for his birthday so I bought a cake pan and thought this was going to the simplest cake I ever made but lets just say that the cake had other ideas like not getting out of the pan...

So I improvised and this is what he got and he LOVED IT!!!

Baseball and Soccer

Ya I know I'm seriously behind in blogging but this is an update on my boys sports this year or lack of..

This was Conner's l first year in Coach pitch and he loved it.. As you can see he didn't get a uniform this year but he still played like a star.

Him and his team of all-stars.

What a stud Mc-Muffin!!

So this year in Soccer Andy sponsored Conner's team, and they were short on coaches so I got to be his coach..

All I can say is what a pain it was for the first game then after that we all had so much fun.

Yes and my shirt was like ten sizes to big haha!! And I think the kids thought I was a little crazy....

So this little dude is my Blake

He was so excited to be in soccer this year

and couldn't wait to go...

Well let's just say it all went down hill when he found the ladybug his first game, Yes and he had to show it to all the kids, so that was the end of that game.

His second game he wouldn't even go on the field.

His third game well lets just say I happened to find his shirt stuffed in the linen closet so I asked him why it was there he said" I don't want to play soccer, it sucks!"

So that was the end of the soccer season for him for a long time..

Well it's been a month and a lot has happened...

Andy is as busy as ever and I saw him maybe a few hours a day if that, But things have calmed down a bit and we got to get away for the long weekend and we took the boys to calgary for a few nights and we did the water slides and took them to the science museum so much fun for all of us to be together and just play.. the boys loved it.

Soccer and baseball started so mondays are crazy busy, And I get to coach Conner team this year WHAT WAS I THINKING... It's fun but it makes a long day even longer and I know nothing about Soccer. so it's FUN..

And it was my Birthday and holy moly Im @*.. That's the slang for 28.

So I'm older and still feel young so I figure I'm good to go till I feel old right???

And yes we are moving again this week, Were headed to my in-laws for awhile which is awesome they AC.. And there was no way I was living in this apartment during the summer with out it. Call me a princess but how can you live with out it.

So hopefully our next move is into our new house!!! Cross your fingers.

So I also have a beef with people (I'm not naming names) I really think they should really think before they say anything.. They know it's rude, soo hurtful and it makes the person feel so useless and especially when it was on a big day for them, but yet they do it anyways. Just so they can be funny,and so they can be the center of attention... What the #@$! So I'm mad and what can you do???.. Just grin and bear it?? What do you think I should have done?

Sorry about that last part but sometimes you just have to get it out...

My little man is 3.. He is getting so big!!!

We had a fun day a Grandma and Grandpa Roe's house

with family.

This is him in his new Diego Car..

He loved it but he was wondering where is the GO .. or the gas.

His Reeder uncle's gave him this and the first thing he said was"oh oh Ah Ah!" Silly Monkey

I think he got a little spoiled but what do ya do.. He's only 3 once, or so I told Andy!!

I made this so fun Lego cake for him and he thought it was the best thing ever!!! Cause he LOVES LEGO>

He was so dang cute when we started singing happy Birthday, He was suddenly shy!! Crazy Boy.

That was my weekend and it was a busy one at that. I'm still painting and wishing it was over but soon so very soon then to the spa a go......

My Side Job!!

That's right I have been so cooped up lately that I had to get a job and get out of the apartment and I'm now a working mom.

It's nothing serious just a side job, I've been doing the prep work and painting on a house Andy built and as painful as it is I LOVE IT!

Even if by the end of the day I'm a mess and my finger's are bleeding( from caulking all the baseboards and casing) I still really like it.

I must be strange Right??

Well to all you full time or part time working moms you ROCK!!

It's hard to have to go to work all day and come home and you still need to be a mom and a wife. But by the end of the day I feel like I have accomplished so much more and I feel like a better mom for doing it. Does that make any sense?

And that's my life for right now. Nothing exciting but just a nice change

for the month of April!

Just an update on our new house there's a roof , windows and all it needs now is shingles.

It's coming but not very fast.

And if Andy wasn't so dang busy this year things might move faster.

But we are just happy that there's work.

And that Spring is around the corner I HOPE!!!

The First Snaring!!

So for all of you farm girl's you know that

when you see a gopher and there's snow on the ground it means only one thing!!

SPRING!!!!

And even if the ground hog saw his shadow or not, when you see one of these guys you know spring is coming!!

So last Saturday the weather was beautiful so I took the boys out to grandma and grandpa Reeder's farm...

And uncle Casey took Conner out to snare gophers and I was a little sceptical so we fallowed and sure enough they caught not one but 2 gophers!!

My boys just love to go to the farm and

that day was probably the best so far!!

Baking Day!!!

MMM... Butter Horns!!

So today was my first baking day that I have had since we moved and I went all out!!

Andy has been bugging me to make Butter Horns since forever so I thought I would attempt them and they actually turned out and there so dang YUMMY!!

Even he thinks so or at least he likes the icing!!!

So today has been a great day in my little kitchen and out of it!!

Not only did my baking get done but so did my roof on my house and tomorrow we'll have windows I'm so thrilled.

It's about time!!! LOL

Vegas

Vegas Baby!! It was so much fun and so much to do.

So we headed down to Vegas last week for the World of Concrete Show!!

It sounds like fun huh! Not really! But at least Andy was into it!!

While we were there we took in a few shows!!

THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!!!!

That's right we were in the price is right show in VEGAS!

So much fun it was pretty much the real thing except no Drew Carey.

No I didn't get called down but it was still a RIOT!!!!

Sorry no pictures of the show but you missed out! We even had bright neon green shirts to wear. We went with a ton of other general contractors and employees from southwest concrete. So the shirts were there idea not mine.

It's been so nice to get away but I so glad to be home even in this dinky Apartment.

He was so proud of this Lego boat he built I just had to get pictures

its not much but he worked for at least 1 hour on this!!!

I'm so glad he's a creative child and can play on his own sometimes!!

Well It's a new year and I love to have a fresh start at life. And to achieve and work at new goals! What's Better!!!

So we had a great Christmas this year and we had so much fun in Edmonton at the rides, the water park and of course SHOPPING!!!!

There's nothing like writing your Will to fully appreciate everything your have!!

This past week we have been busy getting ready to go to the Dominican for a vacation and we knew that we needed to finish our will, it was so hard for me to think that I might not see my boys again and was having a hard time with it. But I am so glad it's done and final and I feel like a huge a weight has been lifted!

We moved finally and I always get a little sad when we have to move out of a house, We have always have done all the work on are house's so I feel like it's a part of me, Yeah I know sappy right but I lived in one house my entire childhood and teenage years so for me to move every 1 to 2 years is really stressful. So I posted this pic to just because I Love This House!!!

We have moved and into a little 3 bedroom apt... It been really hard for the boys and well for all of us.. It's cozy and the boys really don't have much room to play so all they have been doing is fighting.... And they are having a hard time sleeping on top of it all. Sorry about this sad sob story of a post but some times you just need to vent.

So if anyone has any idea's on keep myself sane or anything at all let me know..

On the brighter side we are unpacked and have christmas up!!! And our new house has a basement and floor trusses on. And we are so excited for christmas this year, Andy's parents are taking everyone to West Edmonton Mall for 4 days and we are staying the fanatasy hotel, the boys are so excited to go swimming and everything else that they have to offer. And I'm excited for the Shopping that's right West Ed for boxing day, It's crazy but all you have to do is walk down stairs and shop..

So I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Season!!

So friday as I was getting ready for my big date with my hubby, and I hear Blake start to cough and than gag I ran to see what was going on and he was choking he couldn't breath.... All I can say is thank goodness I had my first Aid!!! I tried the hymlick (yeah don't know how to spell.) maneuver and nothing happened, what ever he swallowed was not budging I tried it over and over again and finally TWO pennies came out!!!

You just really never know when your life can get turned up side down!!!!

And all I can say is I'm so grateful for my boys. And for my instincts I'm sure if I even for a second faltered everything could have changed.

So for all of you mom's out there it's so worth getting your First Aid!!! It really can save someone you love!!!

Crazy day's

So once again it's been a while since I last blogged so here I go...

First off just would like to say how much I love FALL!!! And this year is by far the best I've ever seen. And it's even better for my boys who love being outside.

The last few months have been a little stressing and sad. First we thought our house was sold but 5 days and my entire basement packed later we found out that the deal didn't go through.... My 2 best friends both left and moved to Toronto, then we sold are house agian then it fell through again. so we have no idea what's going on.. But in all this mess we got our hole dug for our house so excited and so dreading the wait, and the work. But more good news in this mess is Blake my 2 and half year old is finally POTTY TRAINED YAY!!! So thrilled I don't have to change or buy diapers anymore...

Oh and can I say I LOVE the Twilight books.. It's my new addiction, thanks to Ray!!!!!

The Little Things

For all 4 of my wonderful ladies that I visiting teach I decided to make these to cute cupcakes on a stick! And they turned out sooo cute!!! Thanks Tiff for your last blog cause you gave me the cute idea. And my Ladies Loved them!!!

So last week we finally bought a play ground, It's the best thing we could have spent our money on and my boys are on there non stop. Lets just say it saved my life last weekend, Andy left for 5 days to a Home show in Toronto and the play ground gave me a little peace and quiet.

How time fly's when you have kids, It's seems like just yesterday I had a 7lb 8oz little boy. And now he's in Kindergarten!!!! Go figure. Conner love's school can't wait to go to school. But Blake on the hand doesn't know what to do with out Conner at home, They're best friend and enemies. Blake seems to be doing a little better, just Blake and I have school when Conner gone and he loves it, we craft and we just play together. It's so nice to have some bonding time with him.

We had a funny Blake moment yesterday. We've been trying to potty train him for awhile now and he doesn't seem to grasp the concept yet. We were in the bathroom and conner has to go pee so he whips down his pants and goes in the toilet well Blake sees this and takes down his pants and stands there like conner and then he looks up and says" how do I turn it on mom!"

I love my two little boys and I'm so greatfull for them and opportunity I have to stay at home with them. Happy School Days!!!

It's been a crazy month so far! First Conner turned 5 and wanted a Pirate Party, it was tons of fun and work but conner loved it!!! He had 9 friends over and they all loved being a pirate, His Grandpa Reeder gave him a cowboy rope, just what he wanted, and he loves it! I can't believe I have a 5 year old!!! Wow how time fly's. We are also getting ready to move in two weeks, I hate to move this is our 5th time moving in 7 years, I don't know what it is about moving but it always makes me so sad. Now were getting ready to build another house and hopefully we'll be happy with this one and live in it for longer than 2 years!! Hopefully next time I post i'll be moved and less stressed!!

So Andy finally got home after being away for 8 months, (he built a 28,000 sq foot lodge for the elderly) in Drumheller. And I need to brag about him just a little!!! He did such an amazing job, all the architects on the job couldn't believe what great work he did and told him they would love to see his work agian!! And these are like big time Corporation architects and businessmen! I'm so proud of him even if he was gone for 8 months! oh, the things we do for are men!!!

Last week Andy had to go up and do some finishing touches on the building, so we made a little vacation out of it, took our 5th wheel and camped in dinosaur valley!! The boys had so much fun we climbed the worlds tallest dinosaur, went on go carts, and went on the water slide! we had such a blast and they loved spending time with there dad!

1. I'm NOT a neat freak!! And it takes a lot out of me to be organized but I try!!

2. My bed needs to be made in the morning or I just become a lazy mess for that day!

3. When my kids use my already MADE bed as a fort or trampoline! Which is often and It's crazy annoying but I still love'em!!

4. I love Books any kind of books! And I have a addiction to romance books! O.K so I said it don't judge me that's my one weakness! And when I go grocery shopping I usually add another to my collection!

5. O.K. so I can't stand when people put other's down, or when they're rude or if they are making fun of them. That's the one thing that really gets me, Why do people do that? Is it to make themselves feel better or what!! I just can't stand Bullies and here I thought School was over!!

6. I love to be thrifty and cheep!! Especially when It comes to decorating my home.. I have found the most crazy ugly furniture and odds and ends at 2nd hand stores and garage sales, I can't help but see the beauty and potential in things!! Even if I have to recover and repaint them!!

So on Sunday we decided to go for a drive and ended up at my parents house. Then we decided that we should try and brave going up to the community pasture even with all the rain we have had. We made it up there alright but our trucks got a little dirty but it was worth it, It turned out to be a beautiful day and the scenery was amazing!!

My little guy Conner is in soccer agian this year and is doing so good. At first he was pretty shy and stand off-ish, but today his 3rd time playing he was doing great not only was he playing but he was doing a little dancing when he didn't have the ball!! So in between snacks,dancing and playing soccer, he fell asleep sooo good tonight!!

Mexico ...... I loved Mexico every minute of it, even when we were driving past men that were holding machine guns scary!!!! We went for Andy's brother's wedding in Culican a 2.5 hour drive from the safe haven of our resort in Mazatlan. That was a crazy day lost in Culican found a Wal-mart and trying to ask for directions to our hotel when no one spoke english!!! Yeah 4 hours later we were at the hotel and trying to enjoy ourselves before the wedding thank goodness it was a beautiful hotel next to a mall!!! But the wedding was a blast all tell you what those mexicans know how to partay, we danced till 1:30 with only a few people that spoke english! but it was sooo much fun I keep telling people i'm going back to mexico just to crash weddings!!

And while this is happening my most favorite Sista ever is at my house with my two boys and her little Makenna that was teething. And I know she changed diapers all weekend and even try'd to potty train Blake, but wasn't that lucky!! But I'm so greatful for her and i know that she loves my boys and took the best care of them and I couldn't ask for anything more. So I love Rayanna she's the best sister I could ask for! I know that there wasn't enough souvenier's in Mexico to say thank you! Thank you Ray!!!

So i decided that I better write something. But it's intimidating looking at other blogers and what they have to say and I wonder what should I really write about? Or does it matter? My life is wonderful I'm spoiled like crazy, by my man of course and I should be considering he's gone most of the time right!! well lately I've been pondering friendship, what is friendship? I've had friends come and go since high school and wonder why were not friends anymore I realize that we change but I would think there should still be that connection right? Or maybe we wern't friends at all if we can't get past the past discretions?
